Good morning Scholars,

Some excellent replies to Monday's post. Congratulations and keep on thinking and planning.

For today, let's share our favorite stress relieving sites on the internet with each other. It might come in handy as we are studying for exams during the next few weeks.

I'll go first. (Warning -- Don't view these cartoons without a grain of salt, some of them aren't necessarily PC ;-)

Check out coffee house propaganda and drugs in your head. I will warn you ahead of time the language is very street. Similar to how I hear students talk in the cafeteria.

If smart mouthed squirrels aren't your cup of tea then try this fishing game.

Both of these sites came to me by way of my students. Feel free to share whatever you enjoy. I could actually use some material that's a little more politically correct. I apologize in advance if anyone is offended ;-0~

Well I am not a big fan of spending too much time on the computer...it can be addicting. However, www.ebaumsworld.com is hysterical!! One time we went to the Napoleon soundboard and pranked called like 15 or 20 of our friends....it was pretty funny. There are also some fun movies and pictures to look at. Some are exstremley GRAPHIC!!! oh well, we are all adults right? Have a great day!

I really don't enjoy spending time on the computer. If i ever do it's because i'm looking something up. Back in high school though to waste time in my computer classes i just played games on various websites. Now a days i look at sports stats and scores.

What little time I spend on the computer is spent on facebook or checking my mail. Sometimes I like collegehumor.com. It's just pictures and video of college students being stupid. It's good comic relief I guess.

I spend most of my time just emailing and shopping online. *Shopping definitely relieves stress for me! :)*

I spend most of my time online on myspace and aim, but I also waste a good bit of time searching messageboards (I know I'm a geek) for rare cds/t-shirts/etc for sale. If you know where to look it's a lot cheaper than ebay and occasionally I've found some really rare out of print cds for sale. I also waste too much of my time on www.emogame.com . It's also far from PC.

Stress relief

Well, the site (http://www.parapluesch.de/) is actually German, but you can choose different languages. English is fortunately one of them. The site is a psychiatric clinic for stuffed animals. It is kind of difficult to understand at first but it has its fun parts too. Might help in final exam stress. Then again, that might just work for psych students. Good luck for finals!!!

When I get on the computer I like to get on facebook and look at everyone'a profiles and pictures because there is some pretty funny stuff on there. THere is also a site called Quizilla. It has a bunch of different quizzes that you can take. Some of them are really stupid, and other ones just make you laugh.

Stress Relievers

Internet stress relievers...hum...well, I spend most of my time on Facebook like everyone else. I guess that is a stress reliever...the site keeps progressing more and more...first it was just a profile with a picture, now it has picture albums. I wont be surprised to see blogs added to it next!

I spend a bunch of time on MySpace and my email. I like to e-mail my relatives and friends and stuff, cause it is so fun seeing their replies. It's like they don't expect to hear from me and they are glad that I write "just because".

I have never even heard of any of the other websites mentioned. I must be pretty sheltered, huh? I am going to check them all out now!

Stress Relievers

I would have to say I spend a lot of time on facebook when I want to relieve stress on the internet. I also love myspace.com! I've had an account with that website since my senior year in high school. I'm on AOL a lot also, I have a friend in Iraq so we talk on AOL all the time! The internet does relieve stress because it takes your mind off stuff! Those are about the only websites I visit daily but if I think of any other ones then I'll post it!

I have a new addiction online. I felt like I should share it here.

www.last.fm is a site where a plugin that you install in pretty much any music player on your computer sends the information of what song you're currently listening to to the site so the public/your friends can view it. It also keeps track of what artists you listen to the most in a certain week, month, and overall.

what i've been listening to...
